| It was with great sadness that we received the news this morning that Pat Wallbank was fatally injured yesterday in a road accident on SH39 at Ngaruawahia.
Pat was the Inspector of Mines, Quarries and Tunnels for many years and has been Quarry Manager Stevensons Huntly Quarry for the past 8 years. He was a founding member of the IOQNZ attending the first conference in 1969. In 2003 he was made an Honorary Fellow. Our thoughts go out to his friends and family. |
