The report, Review of all fatal accidents in Queensland mines and quarries from 2000 to 2019, by Dr Sean Brady, was tabled in Queensland Parliament in February 2020.
It is an independent analysis of the fatalities, serious accidents and high potential incidents that have occurred in the Queensland mining and quarrying industry over the past 20 years. To reduce the rate of fatalities, serious accidents and high potential incidents, requires significant change within the industry.
