Dicksons Transport & Quarries have good reason to celebrate after the successful 2014 QuarryNZ Conference held in Whangarei.
Six other quarry operations were nominated throughout NZ. When Tony Forster, Chief Inspector, Extractives (Quarries and Surface Mining) delivered the result that Dicksons Glenbervie Quarry (Whangarei) had secured the coveted Winstone Aggregates Safety Award, Quarry Manager, Johnny Dickson was nearly lost for words. Winstone Aggregates CEO, Andrea Pidcock was also on hand to present the award.
