Quarry Department Manager


Taylors quarry is an integral part of the wider organisation, providing material both internally and externally. We are looking for a person who has excellent management skills and has a passion for leading a strong team to further success.

You will be joining a team of 9, who have an excellent team culture and hold a vast range of experience.

Taylors own two quarries with a range of hard rock and alluvial material and support several other quarries across the South Island.

As a Quarry Manager at Taylors, you will need:
• A tertiary or diploma qualification, in engineering, geology or similar
• Responsible for all forward planning work and consenting
• Financial reporting
• Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements in the industry
• Adept in technology, computers, and systems
• To build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
