AQA
The Aggregate and Quarry Association (AQA) is the industry body representing companies which produce aggregate and quarried materials consumed in New Zealand each year.
Funded by its members, the AQA has a mandate to increase understanding of the need for aggregates to New Zealanders, improve our industry and users’ technical knowledge of aggregates, and assist in developing a highly skilled workforce within a safe and sustainable work environment.
MITO
MITO is an industry training organisation that designs qualifications and training programmes that meet the needs of the extractive, automotive, transport, logistics, industrial textile and fabrication industries. MITO also provide leadership regarding skill and training needs for these industries in order to enhance careers in their workforces and increase workplace productivity, innovation and sustainability.
MinEx
MinEx is the national Health & Safety Council for New Zealand’s extractive sector – the mining and quarry industry.
The principal purpose of MinEx is to help the industry achieve its goal of being free from fatalities, injuries and diseases. They also provide centralised industry representation with Government and other agencies on health and safety legislation, regulations, guidelines and training.
