MITO & INSPIRING FUTURES FOUNDATION – SCHOLARSHIPS NOW AVAILABLE
MITO, in partnership with Inspiring Futures Foundation, is welcoming applications for the 2023 scholarship programme.
Multiple scholarships will be awarded across 12 categories. Previous scholarship recipients have developed their skills in apprenticeships, traineeships and business skills to specialise in a certain field and support their management goals. All recipients receive advisory support from MITO throughout their training.
“We’re delighted to welcome applications for our 2023 scholarship programme,” says Verna Niao, MITO Director. “And announce our partnership with Inspiring Futures Foundation, to support the career aspirations of individuals working in the automotive, extractives, gas, transport and logistics industries.”
A new category starting this year is the Janet Lane MNZM scholarship which supports an individual with significant leadership development either through a qualification or course, plus coaching. This scholarship honours Janet Lane, who was the chief executive of MITO for over 20 years.
Inspiring Futures Foundation is thrilled to partner with MITO. “The Foundation was established to support educational advancement opportunities for the those working in the automotive, extractives, gas, transport and logistics industries,” says Trustee, Sturrock Saunders. “The scholarship programme, in partnership with MITO and Te Pūkenga, is a key part of this. We are thrilled to announce the new scholarship category honouring Janet Lane and her ongoing commitment to enriching lives and inspiring futures.”
