Your IOQNZ Executive Committee is committed to providing an opportunity for all members to take part in on-going training and since the Annual 2015 Conference in Hamilton, the IOQNZ has worked closely with Institute of Quarrying Australia (IQA) on developing a mechanism for registration / payment of webinars and for some specialist CPD courses.
Following the very successful free trial webinar run last year, a further series of webinars will be commencing shortly.
We have been told that many small operators find it quite difficult to make the time to head away to attend training courses. While the “classroom environment” provides the opportunity for the tutor / presenter to reach many people at the same time, the nominated date may not always suit all.
Participants in the webinar format can simply login and listen to a presentation in quiet room at work. All that’s required is a computer and internet although headphones would be recommended.
