RedBull Powder Company young engineers – Daniel Leemeyer, Nick Bastow, and Jason Tavioni presented a paper at the Auckland Branch Technical meeting May 7th 2013.
Construction Blasting 
– Waterview Connection Project
Their paper entitled Construction Blasting – The Waterview Connection Project demonstrated the magnitude of one of New Zealand’s largest roading construction projects – the Waterview tunnel project, and the many complicated blast designs required to ensure that all contractors working at the site, together with neighbours, were continually safe.
RedBull’s Director, Peter Shapiro said “It’s wonderful to have such young engineers on board, and the paper is a reflection of their dedication to carrying out blasting in a highly-controlled environment.”
