2009 Quarry Industry Study Tour ? 12 to 26 April 2009
Following the highly successful 2007 Quarry Industry Study Tour to Germany and France, Trafalgar Tours has organised a fully escorted Quarry Industry Study Tour to France and Netherlands in April 2009 for members of the quarry and related industries and their partners.
The attached brochure details the tour and also attached is the registration form.
You will see that the tour includes 13 days in Europe and will have four (4) distinct components:
- A visit to Metso?s development and manufacturing facilities in Macon, France;
- Visits to quarry sites, featuring crushing and screening and sand processing;
- Two days participation in INTERMAT 2009, one of the three major international construction materials trade shows; and
- The opportunity for networking with other participants.
The finale of the tour will be participation in the Anzac Day ceremonies at Villers Bretonneaux, France
This tour will will provide the participants with the opportunity to broaden their knowledge of the quarrying and related industries.
Partners will be welcome to attend the site visits but will befree to enjoy the beautiful places the tour will visit. Guided tours will be organised as part of the program, but there will also be ample free time available.
The tour group is limited to 32 and therefore it is suggested that you secure your place on the tour early.
